We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the warehouse by assisting with inventory management, order preparation, shipping and receiving, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, physically capable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and inventory tracking.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload merchandise, materials, and supplies as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
- Follow company procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Support team members with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse, logistics, or related experience preferred, but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and inventory systems.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry items up to [insert weight] lbs. on a regular basis.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
Work Environment:
This position involves working in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical activity throughout the day.
Compensation: TT$3,740 – TT$3,760 per month
