Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Seri Kembangan. The Warehouse Operation Assistant will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing inventory, optimizing warehouse processes, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. This role requires strong leadership skills to supervise warehouse staffs, maintain accurate records, and address any operational issues.
Inbound Operations:
- Supervise and coordinate daily inbound activities (receiving, unloading, checking).
- Assign tasks to the receiving team and ensure proper manpower planning.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies (e.g., not accurate data, missing or damaged goods).
- Implement corrective actions to improve data accuracy and receiving processes.
- Monitor daily inbound volume and prepare reports (e.g., number of inbound shipments per day).
- Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding inbound issues or delays.
- Continuously improve inbound workflow to expedite receiving and put-away process.
Outbound Operations:
- Oversee daily outbound operations (picking, packing, dispatch).
- Plan and assign tasks to the outbound team to meet delivery schedules.
- Ensure order accuracy and timely shipment to customers.
- Resolve issues related to wrong picking, short shipment, or delays.
- Monitor outbound performance (e.g., number of orders shipped per day).
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery status or issues.
General Responsibility:
- Ensure compliance with SOP, safety, and company policies.
- Identify operational issues and provide practical solutions.
- Analyze data to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in conducting stock take to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records. for all customer
- Handle customer inquiries and issues related to warehouse operations
- Proactively identify and address opportunities for enhanced customer satisfaction
- Resolve any challenges encountered in warehouse operations
- Promote effective communication within the warehouse team and with other departments
- Continuously evaluate operational processes identify and implementing improvements as needed
- Promote efforts to automate and simplify processes by utilising technology and industry best practices
- Work with diverse teams to implement new systems and enhanced procedures
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or above
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu and/or Mandarin
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Strong interpersonal skill
