Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Maitland, NSW, for an experienced HC Truck and Dog Driver. The role involves operating heavy combination (HC) trucks and truck-and-dog combinations to transport bulk materials to various locations. Daily responsibilities include inspecting vehicles for safety compliance, adhering to DOT regulations, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring accurate documentation of deliveries. Collaboration with project teams to meet delivery schedules and uphold the highest safety and compliance standards is also an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
- Valid HC (MC preferred) license and experience
- Proficiency in truck driving and maneuvering truck-and-dog combinations
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with loading and unloading bulk materials safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and adherence to compliance protocols
- Previous experience in bulk haulage, civil, or infrastructure projects is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments
